The SPR Super Phase Monitoring Relay, developed by Borna Electronics, provides advanced protection for three-phase electrical systems and motors. In addition to protecting equipment against phase loss, neutral loss, phase sequence reversal, overvoltage, undervoltage, and voltage imbalance, the relay is capable of detecting contactor contact failure (incomplete contactor switching), a critical fault that can lead to motor damage and overheating.
By monitoring the three-phase voltage at the contactor output, the SPR relay offers enhanced motor protection and is particularly suitable for applications where reliable motor operation is essential.
