EFR Earth Fault Relay

Protection against earth leakage faults is an essential requirement in modern electrical distribution systems. The EFR Earth Fault Relay, used together with Borna Electronics Core Balance Current Transformer (CBCT), is designed to provide reliable protection against earth leakage currents. The relay is available in two adjustable current ranges, 0.3–6 A and 1–20 A, and incorporates advanced features such as earth leakage detection, core balance CT open-circuit supervision, output logic selection, and built-in test functions.

The EFR relay can be configured for both contactor-based protection systems and shunt-trip circuit breaker applications, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial installations
