AST/C Astronomical Time Switch

The AST/C Digital Astronomical Time Switch, developed by Borna Electronics, is an advanced microprocessor-based solution designed to replace conventional photocells. By accurately calculating local sunrise and sunset times based on geographical location, the device can automatically switch loads ON and OFF within a programmable range of ±180 minutes relative to sunrise and sunset. In addition, switching operations can be performed at predefined times according to user requirements.

Unlike traditional photocells, the AST/C can be installed inside electrical panels and covered environments, eliminating operational errors caused by cloudy weather, dust, or environmental conditions. The product is available in single-relay and dual-relay versions, providing flexible control options for a wide range of lighting and automation applications. Type-Test Certified by Niroo Research Institute (NRI)
